Well, I finally got it to work.
Like some of you, the promo code seemed to do nothing. To see the credit you have to hit the check out button and move on to the next screen. There you will see the credit.
The next part that was tricky was getting that 2nd screen to accept my personal information. Specifically, the state drop down menu doesn’t work. I was finally able to get through by clicking on the box that allows you to enter a different shipping address. There I was able to get the drop down menu for the state to work. But first, select the country. Afterwards, I did get my confirmation.

Worked perfectly once I used Mozilla Firefox, thanks for that little tip. It won’t accept Google Chrome. Once you type in the promotional code, press the red button. It will go through and it won’t ask you for your credit card info.
