A word of advice:
I just tried to get this “freebie” and now I’m stuck (temporarily) with a subscription for seventeen magazine, they don’t ask you for credit card info, just your address and the code word so it makes it look like all you’re doing is getting the freebie, as soon as you hit submit it tells you that they have received your order and that your first issue will be in the mail within 4-6 weeks and that you will be billed $10…I got the confirmation email and I am now trying to cancel the subscription but the web page for costumer service keeps telling me an error has occurred every time I submit by cancellation request, so I will be calling them tomorrow. :uh: I hope I can cancel it… :run:

yeah…I went to this freebie as soon as it was posted and before the “NOTE” part was added…bad move on my part…not blaming hunt4freebies…I was just too fast lol
They do this to you even if you get the magazine or not. This freebie is SUPPOST to be for only magazine readers but word gets out then everyone enters it. They will just keep sending you emails and letters in the mail for couple of months but then it stops!!!

There is no click here button. I got the magazine confirmation, too. The official rules do not mention about the subscription. This is a scam.
Seventeen offers are not a scam. I always get my stuff. And you need to click where it reads

This was NOT a good!! I CAME with a subscription to their magazine. Big time hook for them to get new subscribers!!!
Now I have to cancel my subscription once the 1st magazine comes. Something to worry about!

The magazine is NOT free!!!!!!!!
On the first email they sent you they have a part on the bottom that says “contact us” or “customer service” (I can’t remember which one it was) from there is takes you to a website where you can cancel the subscription, you’ll need your account number or your mailing info, I tried with my mailing info at first and the cancellation request didn’t go through, so I waited and I got a second email from seventeen, this time it had the account number so I used that to log on to the costumer service website and then click on cancel my subscription and this time it went through, I PrtSc the window to have is as proof that I canceled it (so far I haven’t gotten a confirmation email saying the subscription is canceled). Hopefully that is taken care of, the confirmation screen said that it was canceled and to keep any magazines they sent.
