Going in the morning also for my husband he has a bad back and these work really well for him.
I went today to get my second one @ a different walgreens than the one I went to Monday and I argued with a sales person about their in ad coupon. She would not apply their coupon, as per her , you would have to purchase the rubbing alcohol as well that is pictured on their in ad coupon.
Has anyone else ran into such baloney?

Oh boy I don’t even know what to say in regards to the cashier you got, but she is totally wrong. The coupon is for one of those items which include the Salonpas Hot Patch or the Walgreens rubbing alcohol. No where on the coupon does it state that you have to purchase one item to get the other item for $0.99.
If they are telling you that you have to purhcase 2 items for a total of $0.99 then this is a much better deal. LOL- Some of these cashiers don’t understand how couponing works they sometimes don’t understand that you can get items for free. It’s just good couponing.
I’m looking at Walgreens ad right now and they have an in-ad coupon that has the Precise pain relief for $3.99 and the picture shows heat patches and cream. Which based on what your cashier told you, you should get both pictured items for a total of $3.99, which is a crazy good deal, but I can guarantee you that this is not the way it is.
If you run into a problem like that again ask to talk to a manager and hopefully he/ or she can help you out. Because the cashier you got was 100% wrong.

Thanks Mike, It does clear things up as this was insane. She herself was all over the place and seemed totally out of it. But I will definitely be back @ that walgreens tomorrow and will be speaking to a manager…..hopefully I will get my money back …or create a scene …this will give me satisfaction ….hehehehe :thumbsup:
Two of my local Walgreens will not combine the coupons because they will owe me a penny. I’m going to another Walgreens today.
