Be really careful about doing this. If you put that you are within their scouting range (as far as age), they will try very hard to recruit you. And unless you plan on joining, it’s really not worth the aggravation. If you aren’t within the age range, they won’t send you anything except a letter telling you that you’re ineligible to join the Marines. My son is 14 and we have sent away for the free stuff from the Army, Marines, and the National Guard. The guard did send him a t-shirt and a poster, and the army sent him a poster and some info. The marines just sent a letter saying that he was ineligible.
