Dr. Oz freebies are not a scam, with these freebies they end up going viral and with millions of people trying to get the same freebie it will make for server issues and errors because of the heavy amount of traffic to the site at the same time. What it comes down to is you need to just be lucky.
I got the Skechers when they were offered a while back and it took a while to receive the email for these, I almost had forgot about it.
