Get a FREE Whopper at Burger King! Visit one of the locations listed and open the BK app and select the “scary places” promo. Click I am here and you’ll get the free whopper added to your account! Make sure you’re within 300ft of this scary place for your Whopper® Sandwich to appear.

1. To participate in the Promotion, participants must download and register on the BK® App, and be willing to share location data via the BK® App.

2. Promotion starts on October 26, 2020 at 10:00AM ET and ends on October 31, 2020 at 11:59PM ET, or when all coupons have been redeemed, whichever occurs first.

3. For purposes of this Promotion, Scary Places* shall mean the abandoned restaurants located in the following addresses:

  • 5196 Salem Ave, Dayton, OH 45426;
  • 1602 Fm 1960 Rd W, Houston, TX 77090;
  • 2408 Center Point Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35215;
  • 522 State Route 31 McHenry, IL, 60050; or
  • 1350 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI.

*DO NOT ENTER – The Scary Places listed above are abandoned restaurants, no longer open to the public, located in private property. Participants must not enter or trespass.

4. To qualify for the Promotion, participants must be 18+ and complete the following steps:

  • Download and register on the BK® App;
  • Go near the Scary Place (near 300 feet shall suffice) of one of the Scary Places selected for the Promotion; and
  • Go the Scary Places tile on the BK® App and click “I AM HERE.” Please note that if you have not allowed location data to be accessed by the BK® App, you will be prompted to do so. Location data access is required to be able to confirm you are near one of the Scary Places.

5. Participants that follow the above steps will receive a free original Whopper® sandwich coupon (“Coupon”) on the BK® App. Limit one per day/account. Coupon should appear within 30 minutes of completing the steps outlined on Section 4.

6. Coupon is valid at participating U.S. Burger King® restaurants on the BK® App and BK.com. Expires on Nov. 3, 2020 at 11:59 PM ET. Limit one per day/account. No substitutions. Coupon may not be combined with any other coupon, discount or offer.
