Get a FREE Steak Dinner at Outback Steakhouse You have to live within 25 miles of your local outback. -it consists of one (1) Free Steak Dinner, which includes one (1) 6-oz Outback Special® Sirloin and choice of one (1) side redeemable Monday through Thursday only at any participating Outback Steakhouse Restaurant location. This is for the 1,000,000 people. No Purchase Necessary. *** First 1309 per location. Please Note: If you are on the west coast you will have to wait until 9PM.

Terms/Rules:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Subject to individual “Giveaways” as outlined in Official Rules available at www.outbackfreesteaks.com. Starts at 9:00 p.m. in the time zone based upon entrant’s city of residence (if residing in US time zone other than CDT) or 8:00 p.m. CDT if city of residence is in CDT time zone. Ends 8/26/11 or once all prize winners are determined for a Giveaway, whichever comes first. Open to legal residents of the 50 US (excluding residents of DC, ND and PR), at least 18 years at time of entry.

To be eligible for a Giveaway, Entrant must reside no more than twenty-five (25) miles from a Participating Outback Steakhouse Restaurant location hosting the Giveaway as further defined in Official Rules. Void in PR, outside 50 US, DC, ND and where prohibited by law.

NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE FOUR (4) MINUTES TO COMPLETE THE ENTRY FORM. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THE ENTRY FORM BY CLICKING THE “NEXT” BUTTON BEFORE THE FOUR (4) MINUTE TIME FRAME HAS EXPIRED, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE RESPECTIVE PRIZE.     So this goes live online at 8pm tomorrow night…is anyone else envisioning a similar fiasco to the KFC free chicken thing from a couple years back? I’m going to call ahead before I go if I end up getting the coupon this time.

    I live about 7 minutes from a wonderful Outback Steak House, I can only imagine the server crashing but it is worth a try..I have a coupon for a free bloomin onion, oh, my goodness and a steak dinner to much heaven on earth..The food is great and reasonable..always I leave a good tip it is hard to be a server now the economy is still in the toilet and people who do dine leave change, shame on them, don’t they know that servers live off of their tips..if you can’t afford to pay for your meal and a decent tip then just stay at home and make your own dinner…well said, love your blog, it is most helpful and your concise descriptions help a lot..Happy Wednesday, almost the weekend!!!!!!!

    I watched the clock tick down and the site reloaded itself. It asked for my zip code and immediately told me that all the freebies in my area were gone but offered me $5 off 2 entrees.

    I had the brief form filled out and submitted by 9:01 EST.

        Looks like the franchises got to decide how much they wanted to participate. If the Outback closest to you only wanted to participate at the $5 off level than it didn’t matter how early you got in.

    I’m so happy to have a free steak dinner from Outback, you’d think I had no money at all!

    I was annoyed at first because it reloaded to a 404. But I refreshed the page and it loaded correctly. That happened with every single page, but I eventually it it. WHOO HOO!!!

    i was on the site on time and let me put my zip code in and let me fill out the info and then it told me only one per house hold, whats going on, that was the first time i filled it out

    I completed my information and got a message back “only one per household” and I’m the only one here entering. This is a total bust. I definitely won’t go to Outback now.

    I waited for hours, then after typing in my info…. and I DO live within the area, it stated only one per household. I was the only person in my household who entered. Seems rather deceitful.

    Got the “one per household” message too. That’s a lousy bug in their system, it times out on you due to overload but still shows you as already requested. That’s ok, I’ll support the mom & pop establishments rather than the chains.

    It said I got one. Then it said to print this page for your records. That page came up with only half the information the rest was blank. The only information ws the address of the outback. So I don’t know???????

      It might not matter that your information didn’t print right because they’re going to send the coupon in the mail anyway, All it says is that you got one and the address of the restaurant and no purchase necessary, etc.

      If you’re getting a one to the household message, have you tried switching to another browser? It might clear the problem up. Also, your friends could be signing you up once they realize they got theirs and the site is still working.

    I want to dislike this cause it says only one per house hold, and that was the first time i tryied, i feel like i wasted my time! they should be compensating the ones that were misled

    Got mine earlier. When I typed in my zip code it offered me the $5 coupon but I just exited out and looked up the zip code of the closest one I wanted to go to (which is about 2 hours away, but my sister lives there so that’s okay) and I got the free dinner. Yay! :yahoo:

    The website would not give me a coupon at all, nor allow me to do anything for that matter.
    Guess Outback, from the looks of things, does not let anyone have a free steak unless they complain from what I am reading above. WELL, I refuse to complain. We eat there 2 to 3 times a month. But no more. We are going to give our money to Texas steak House from now on.

    I got one being shipped to one of my work addresses. The only good thing about traveling for work.:)

    It seemed most of them in my area did not offer the free dinner.

    I got one right away and signed up several friends and family members (out of my state). For those that it says only one per household, a friend or relative could have signed you up already, you never know. Mine certainly wouldn’t have had a clue that someone signed them up, much less that it was me.
