i tried to get this offer yesterday but was told NO WAY at 2 different Walgreens because the face amount for the coupon ($2) was greater than the sale amount for the markers ($1.98). anyone have a work around for this?
try giving the coupon to the clerk after the taxs has been added or wait until the price goes up a few cents sure it won’t be free but it will be at a rock bottom price.
buy other items besides the markers so you will have enough to cover the $2 coupon.. There’s a lot of scool supply coupons out there so stock up! lol
i tried doing this as well but they stuck strictly to the coupon going towards the markers.
My local Walgreens just adjust the coupon to $1.98. If your local Walgreens won’t accept it then you can always go to Walmart and price match it to the Walgreens price. Walmart does accept overages so you won’t have a problem.

I had that issue at first when I was checking out the other day I had 2 coupons and so I got 4pks of markers and she was like, “it’s not going to accept these coupons b/c you have to get the 4 or 6 pack, see the picture???” I just simply told her the picture was just an “example” of their product and that the text says ANY and that it should scan without a problem, she tried it and it worked just find for me!

so if I do my math correctly, it’s $5 off, but each 6 pack is $3.99?? so it’s not free – can yo uuse more than one $3 IVC??
I would *assume* (I’m still new to the couponing thing) but… I’d assume you’d get the $3 IVC for each of the 2 packs you buy, plus bringing them down to just $0.99/each then w/the manf q they should be free. Wish now I would’ve held onto 1 of mine for this deal! I cash mine it last week for the 2packs for $0.99/each…. both black – My kids would’ve much rather had the colored! Ah well… maybe I can find another computer to use and print out another, hehe 🙂
