When the time comes to order a box, it will always only be available on a first come, first served basis until the volume of Sample Showcase boxes are gone. There are no guarantees you will receive any particular Sample Showcase box.”

    Going by their “next box release” time stamp on their website which means 11am Central time on Monday April 4th. But don’t quote me…just guessing! :dunno:

      Definitely register now, because you have to confirm your account in an email they send to you. When sample day comes, you want to be all registered and ready to go!

    I signed up for this sample. I got a comfirmation. Do they just send samples or do they require more from this registration? Never heard of it before.

    I stayed on site all morning and no I didn’t get through. This is crazy. They even forwarded my friend and I to Costco for some reason. Two days ago they only had 400 members today it over 2000.

    I’m thinking that this offer is government funded (since it’s through the USPS) and therefore you must be in a certain income level to qualify. Not right! I think everyone should enjoy freebies!!!

      Um, private entities (like Walmart) use the postal service. And I doubt the govt is giving out freebies. Marketers want to know your income level because if you don’t make enough to buy their stuff, they don’t want to send you stuff for free. They do freebies to rope you into buying, not just to give away free stuff.

    LOUSY! Site crashed because the promotion couldn’t handle the people. All this hype just to waste my time? OMG talk about bad. I’m never doing anything like this again. All I’m seeing around the net is how people like me got error messages, terrible load times, hitting refresh, all this stuff – just for a major letdown. TERRIBLE.

    Quite simply put this was a ridiculous waste of time. I went through the headache of waiting and refreshing for half an hour only to be told I was not qualified for this box. Why would they operate in this manner?

    This needs to be changed so that we are well aware that we do not quality for a specific box BEFORE we go on a refreshing extravaganza.

    Also the server(s) over there just simply couldn’t handle this kind of throughput. This needs to be fixed so in the future there won’t be so much fuss. I really hope they prepare correctly next time.

    Let’s see how Tide does tonight. I’m hoping and I do believe they have things under control over there. StartSampling should follow.

    Crashed for me too as soon as I clicked the button to see if I qualify. Can’t get the web site to come up again. Must have an overwhelming response.

    I got through and qualified. I said I was female, 2 kids, and black.

    I am female, the rest is not true.

    I got through and qualified with the truth…asked about a few products a few I had heard of and used said box woudl arrive in April.

    Ask gender age of kids at home and income level…never asked my race…but again I’m not desperate enough to lie about any of it to get something for free.

    Got through. Didn’t ask me for race though. Just income level and ages of kids. Then it concluded with a questionnaire on samples received in the past.

    I could not get thru using google chrome, firefox or internet explorer. It went straight through using AOL. That is a first. AOL is usually the slowest.

    StartSampling’s Sample Showcase servers are overloaded,
    to stop frustrating so many of you were are taking things down for a bit.
    Check back later – there are plenty of boxes yet to be ordered!

        There are 2 packets of the Starbucks ready brew, a bottle of dream water, 2 packets of vanilla coffee mate, a mini deodorant a G.U.M. soft pick, a Nonni’s Biscotti, a package of wisk laundry detergent, and a couple coupons for the products listed above… And inside there was a note that said “You are the first to receive sample showcase”

    hey the website is back on and i suggest when you put how much money you make choose the third or forth selection dont go to low cuz you might not get the samples i found that out cuz i tryed it with my account and it said i didnt qualify because of that
