I can’t open the license key either! It’s saying it need to know what program created it in order to open it!

  You need to download Winzip and unzip the file. You can download a free trial version and do it. That’s what I did. Then, go into the JV16 program and click on Help, then on License Tool. There, you will have the option to Search For A New License. If you have unzipped the License file, it should find it. Hope that helps!!
