It just worked for me, you have to Click on right where it says “Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance” and enter code VDAYMP3S
code does not work.
There’s something wrong with the gift card claim code you entered. Please check for transposed digits, omitted digits, and similar errors. Don’t worry, this is not case sensitive.
I just tried the code and it still works, make sure you have no spaces when you apply the code.

Yes!! thank you and the code does work, I also got the error but after reading the error message well, I went back to the song I wanted to buy and the message “Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance” does appear, I entered it there and voila!! I’m enjoy my free song =)
UPDATE: Oops sorry, actually this is the note I read:
“Please note: Promotional codes from Amazon.com may only be redeemed at the time that you place an order.”
