I wasted 20 minutes too. Always 504 Bad Gateway. Things need to be done differently for contests such as this.
I had the same problem: error code 504 bad gateway. This went on for about 30 mins. Then at about 12:4o pm est I got a message that said check back in a few minutes, written across a blank screen. At about 1 pm est website says the promotion period has ended. I suspect shenanigans.
