Yesterday, before church I stopped at your Bellaire and Grand Parkway location at 22719 Bellaire Blvd.
I had a coupon for a buy a biscuit, get a biscuit free. While waiting in the drive-thru, I went ahead and placed my order online. I then told your employee throught the speakerphone that I had a coupon and would like to get the second biscuit free, as I had just paid for one.
My order was confirmed at 9:10. There were only 4 cars ahead of me, but I did not make the window until 9:35. The car behind me pulled out of line after the first 10 minutes.
When I made it to the window, I was told that I owed like $3.29 for my biscuit. I expalined that I had already paid. She said, Yes, but I needed to buy a 3rd biscuit in order to use the coupon. I explained to her what I had done and she said, Oh, I didn’t understand that. I said well now that you do, can you make it right. She said know and asked me what I wanted her to do. I said keep my coupon and give me that my 2 biscuits. She said she couldn’t do that. I said, okay, just give me the biscuit I’ve paid for and I’ll keep this coupon. This was all after a 25 minute wait in line. This was total incompetence on the part of your employees at this locaton.
My comment is
“You go to a lot of lengths to encourage your customers to order online. You distribute a lot of coupons to entice your customers to visit your outlets. However, your ordering online app has no provisions for using a coupon. I would like to order online and be able to use a coupon should I have one. Then I could just show it upon pickup. Yesterday’s ill experience would have been avoided.”
