1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: May 1, 2023 – May 7, 2023.

Each day of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will make available a given day’s allotment of digital Don Julio Cincos† over the course of two (2) separate releases (or “drops.”) The first drop will occur sometime in the morning hours (as defined by Eastern Standard Time; “EST”), but no earlier than 9:00 a.m. EST; the second drop will occur sometime in the afternoon hours (again, as defined by EST) but no later than 5:00 p.m. EST. A day’s allotment of digital Don Julio Cincos will be split evenly between the two (2) drops. The specific time of each drop will be posted by Sponsor on the official Don Julio Tequila page on Instagram, @DonJulioTequila, sometime during that day. To learn the times of each day’s drops, you must have an Instagram account and follow @DonJulioTequila (if you do not already).**

†10,000 digital Don Julio Cincos Prizes (or, “Prizes”) are allotted to each day of the Sweepstakes Period except for May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) for which 32,500 Prizes have been allotted. The first drop of the Sweepstakes Period (on May 1) will consist of 5,000 Prizes. Except for May 5, all subsequent drops will consist of 5,000 Prizes plus any remaining, unclaimed Prizes from preceding drop(s); the drops on May 5 will each consist of 16,250 Prizes plus any remaining, unclaimed Prizes from preceding drop(s). REMAINING PRIZES WILL BE RETAINED FOR SUBSEQUENT DROP(S) WITH THE SOLE EXCEPTION OF THE 2ND DROP ON MAY 7 (AS IT IS THE LAST DROP OF THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD)

The first respondents to a drop – up to the number of Prizes available in that drop as defined in Rule 1 above – will be notified via pop-up message and will win a Prize of $5 digital Don Julio Cinco subject to verification of their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules by the independent third-party judging organization (“Judges”) in its sole discretion. As part of the verification procedure, a potential prize winner may be required to sign a Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release [where lawful] within an indicated time period or prize will be forfeited and may not be awarded.

If all Prizes for the second drop of a given day are claimed (i.e., the maximum number of respondents for the second drop of a given day IS reached) prior to 11:59:59 p.m. EST on that day:

a notice will be posted on the Website indicating that the Sweepstakes has ended for that day of the Sweepstakes Period; and
no additional entries will be accepted for that day. For May 1 – 6, the notice will instruct persons to visit @TequilaDonJulio for the start time for the first drop on the next day and to return to the Website at that time and try to win again. (For May 7, the notice will state that the Sweepstakes has ended.)

In all cases, the Judges will determine in their sole discretion all issues as to the availability and claiming of Prizes for a given drop/day, with such decisions being final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal.

Entrants’ personal information will only be used for purposes of administration of Sweepstakes, unless an entrant expressly consents beforehand in writing to such other use by Sponsor. TOTAL RETAIL VALUE OF ALL PRIZES: $462,500.

Digital Don Julio Cinco must be redeemed at the Website as per the provided instructions. Digital Don Julio Cinco must be redeemed by May 7, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST; if not redeemed/claimed by this deadline for any reason (including failure to follow provided instructions), digital Don Julio Cinco is void and Sponsor will have no liability to winner under any legal theory. Message & data rates (and perhaps other charges) may apply as part of redemption process. Prize winner should allow approximately twenty-four (24) hours after completion of the digital Don Julio Cinco redemption process to receive $5 deposit in his/her Venmo account.

No prize substitution. Prize is not transferable. Limit of one (1) Prize per person per day of the Sweepstakes Period, for a maximum of five (5) Prizes per person.
