      Abby, I signed up Shoptext website, and you do not need to put your credit card info there…I suggest you do not ever put your such info ..too risky.

    I hope they do not charge too expensive for my texts back and forth..that is my concern….does anybody know how much they charge for each text message I send??

      Depends on if you have a texting plan. i have unlimited texts but if you don’t have a texting plan it could cost anywhre from .10 to .20 a text.

      We lost everything in a house fire, rebuilt & lost it all again in Katrina a year later….All that to say, it hurts like hell now and it will hurt like hell later, but eventually, even if slowly, you will get your life back. And when you do, you will look back stronger and appreciating the things/ones you love even more.

        diddo we lost everything in a house fire and were staying in hotels for months , was a rough time in my life so I know how devastating this can be , my best wishes are out for M&M they are good people

      Do you or does anyone know how to contact Michele and/or Mike so we can set up a Paypal donation link for them? I don’t mind creating one of those free websites or a facebook page for them and posting the link and button so that people can donate to help them. I’d start it now but without knowing the money is going to them, I wouldn’t feel safe doing it. Anyone with info, please reply to this post. Thank you.

    Yes Lena, it does work that way and Ill do the same. This site is part of my daily routine, I even have it send me a txt msg every time they made a post. I miss them and wish them better days ahead.

    @One Freebie- Yes it is wrong for Elsa to do that, but she MEANS well. At least she’s trying to help.
    In some way it’s unethical that something bad happened to Mike and Michele and you’re in some way trying to bring users to your site.

      I agree too! Doesn’t matter tho, the loyal users of this site will not just up & go to another site. I was so worried about them too. Mike & Michele I am so so sorry to hear about that. I was just thinking the other day how good people they are, and that I was so thankful for them, and that I was also thankful they had that contest, I won one of the prizes. So I was thinking (BEFORE I heard about their loss) that I wonder if I clicked on their ads a lot if it would help them out, because I just wanted to do nice things for them, since they have saved me so much money the past year, and made my day so many times when I received freebies in the mail. So I am definately gonna do a lot of clicking on ads, if yall think it will help them to make money. I wish there was some way all of us on here that check this site faithfully, could start some kind of fund for them, but idk how to do that. They will difinately be in my prayers tho.

        Lisa, all they have to do is add Paypal button, I would donate anything I can to them. If it is possible for them to do that right now. I am sure that every dollar would help.

        Mike and Michele, I am so sorry to hear about your loss, this is so wrong on so many levels. However, this might even be a blessing in disguise, perhaps there is an even bigger plan for you guys because your site helped me out, that’s for sure. If you guys put up a paypal link I will gladly donate as well.

    There used to be a forum section but I can’t seem to find it..we could have updated the site with any of the freebies we find until Michele and Mike get back on their feet, or we could pick one of these comments sections to do it. Just trying to find a way to keep the site updated for them..one less thing for them to worry about.

    OMG!! It’s been a few days since I was last here & like the rest of you, I was a bit concerned too since I hadn’t heard from them in several days. I last got an email on the 13th, so it’s been almost a week.

    I can NOT believe what has happened to you Mike & Michele! I am SO very sorry for your loss guys. Now I know WHY we haven’t heard from you. This is a horrible time of year to loose your home in a fire with the weather turning colder & the holidays approaching, of course ANY TIME is devastating when your home is lost. I pray you had insurance too. My thoughts & prayers are & will be with you always. :pray:

You understand how much this website has helped me. My family is under so much pressure economically and your site has done me wonders. And if it makes you guys feel better, that other site One Freebie recommended is nothing compared to your website. That website is slow, has lame freebie, and isn’t very attractive. But YOUR website is very diverse, fast, and helpful. So sorry for your loss again.

      I received a GC from winning one of their recent contests and there is an address on the business card and the envelope for this site :

      I would advise sending GC but make sure its for their area…like the grocery stores..or send just cash..we dont know if they can cash checks or money orders. Seems they lost everything and we dont know if that includes all their personal belongings. ( wallets and id ) so i think the GC and cash would be a safe bet.

Im not sure I wanna send anything that isnt at least a money order, if no one is there, we dont know if anyone who shouldnt be is getting into a mailbox..

    Anyone who has won any of their contests has received a business card from them. On the business card is the address. The same as I posted. It’s also on the envelope as the return address. And I am offended that you posted that I “might ” be telling the truth. Other people who have won the GCs can verify the address I posted. This is not MY address. And I for one wouldnt send people to another free sample website.
