The last time I tried using a coupon that was $1 off of something but that something was on sale for $.99, they wouldn’t let me use it cuz it had to be at least $1.
Yes the cashier is supposed to adjust the coupon down.

It works you just have to be stern with the cashier most cashier dont know their own coupon policy. But they have to adjust the coupon down for you.
Thanks for these comments because after seeing this deal, i went to Target and was told I couldn’t use them!! i was coming back to this site to let y’all know…but now i have my answer 🙂 even though the manager came over and she and i had a few words, i wasn’t aware of the “adjust the coupon down.” looks like i’ll be headed back tomorrow!!

It is a $1 coupon, not $2 as stated

Use use zip code 01364 and the $2 coupon should come up. If it does not then it may have reached the print limit.

You just have to have a big order. I got 14 free samples one visit w/$1.00 off coupons for .99 samples & they all just zipped right through the scanner! Now I clip EVERY coupon if it doesn’t specify it can’t be used on trial size!
