I was just told at the Cedar Park, Tx Dollar Tree that I cannot use any coupon that makes an item free. Can anyone tell me if y’all have come into this same problem? I read their coupon policy and to me it seems that they cannot take a coupon that states “FREE” on the coupon, not making the item free after the coupon. I am very frustrated and disappointed in the lack of customer service I have received from them. Anyway, if this is the case, please join me in emailing their corporate office to change this so we can actually use coupons like they advertise. Thanks for your help!
I just used several $1.00 coupons at my local (Damascus, MD) Dollar Tree, making the items free. The only restrictions were I could only use 2 internet coupons per transaction (making me split my order into three transactions) and that I paid the tax on the items. So I got several items for just pennies. Go back and make them read the Dollar Tree coupon policy again (take a copy with you, available on their website: dollartree.com) and calmly explain that $1.00 off is not the same as free, since you are paying the tax. Don’t give up!
